Every once in awhile I check StitchFix to see if they are hiring stylists in my area (they do their hiring by region). It pays $16/hour and it's part-time work. Today when I ventured to their site, I saw that their regional specifications were not in place. And while I had been waiting for it to specifically say Washington, DC, I thought I'd take the chance.
So I applied.
I voluntarily told them that I'm disabled. We'll see if that matters. The resume that I created online (it does all the hard work for you!) is actually pretty strong considering the job I'm going for. I'm excited at the prospect of putting together outfits for SF clients. It's something I'm really good at.
This weekend we're getting a snowstorm. Sunday was going to be my first voice lesson in awhile, but there's no way I'm driving into DC in the snow. It's a mess on a good day. So Ben and I will cuddle with the animals, drink hot cocoa, and do other slow, cozy things. We could both use a rest.
