Finally

We've finally gotten bathroom renovations underway.  They started with the upstairs hall bath, and it's nearly done.  They need to swap out the handles for the silver ones, paint the door, and install a towel hook.  Today they started demo on the downstairs hall bath, which is the one I installed a floor in a couple years ago.  They were kind enough to compliment my tile work.  It will look better when they do it.

The work has been going on for a week and is already incredibly disruptive.  I had a breakdown on day two, mainly from lack of sleep.

I've moved upstairs.  Let's hope we can rest tonight because the last month has been deadly on the sleep front.

Because I'm super ridiculous, I had them add glitter to the grout.  It hardly shows up on camera, but in meat space, it's intense.  

Will it be too much for potential buyers?  As much as I want to sell this house, my first thought is, who cares, gfy.  I should probably adjust my attitude here.

Meh.

We're selling as soon as all this work is done, and god knows when that's going to be, because it's more than just the bathrooms.  Lots of other little things that I need to arrange with so many different people, some of whom just don't seem to want to respond to my calls.
